Perfumed Stink Bombs from Cire Trudon

I am seriously excited about the Perfumed Stink Bombs from Cire Trudon. The tiny glass phials contain an intense fragrance that will immediately fragrance a room, although I love the idea of doing this outside – or just randomly scenting unexpected areas along my travels (although at £29 for ten, I’m not sure I am generous enough to become the Banksy of sudden fragrancing!) The ‘Bombes Puantes Parfumees’ come in a variety of scents – easily my favourite is Moroccan Mint Tea -who wouldn’t want to be surrounded by a gorgeous minty aroma on a summer night? The other scents are:

– Ernesto – Leather and Tobacco
– Nazareth – Clove and Orange*
– Odalisque – Orange Blossom*
– Roi Soleil – Wax wood floor of Versailles*
– Spiritus Sancti – Incense

They’re available from November, just in time to kick up a stink for Christmas.

From your description, it seems that these would be better suited to outdoor entertaining. If these are true to their name, they’d be way too intense for indoors. Not everyone fares well with in-your-face fragrance.

  6. Lol “The Banksy of sudden fragrancing” amazing! These sound lovely – Odalisque appeals as I love citrussy scents!

I could have used these as a kid when someone threw an actual stink bomb into the school air conditioning. 😉

  8. As the mother of three teenage sons, all of whose rooms have a certain ‘male aroma’, I love the sound of this product. Standing by the door and hurling a nice smell at the mess and chaos sounds perfect.
