Peaches & Cream Loose Pigment

Peaches & Cream Make Up Studio is a beauty legend in Liverpool! I follow them on Instagram and the looks they create are incredible; and so many, too. Their concept is ‘celebrity service for the everyday girl’ and judging by Instagram, they’re always busy, so I’m assuming that mantra is one that is more than working for them!

Peaches has already launched an eyelash range into Top Shop but their newest range is loose pigments launching any minute now on the Peaches website HERE. I’m not a fan of loose pigment because I can’t make them work without ending up with glitter-face, but I’m aware that’s my lack of ability because so many others love them. I’ve done some swatching with the Peaches pigments which are incredibly fine and ultra shimmery, so that if you’ve mastered the art of loose pigment, you can see what they have. BUT, I have to tell you that I’ve discovered a little secret – Lit Cosmetics Liquid Glitter base, meant for loose glitters but as I found out, equally at home with loose pigment.

And here they are under artificial light – super glimmery, right?

The light that bounces off these is incredible and they’re a total snip at £4.50.

And here’s Lit, that has completely transformed my opinion of loose pigment. Mix a little of the Clearly Liquid Base with the loose pigment, and it turns into a creamy formula that doesn’t lose any of the shine. There are two versions of Lit, Water Resistant HERE for £8 a bottle and Non Waterproof HERE – it’s £6.50 a bottle. As you can see, Lit has its own glitters – they’re so beautiful – and these are designed to be used (and come as a set with) the Clearly Liquid Base for glitter than doesn’t move.

Lit Glitter comes out beautifully – my photo doesn’t do it justice, but there are a lot of colours to choose from HERE if you’re a glitter fan.
