You can’t say that Paul & Joe don’t completely bring it with packaging! This forthcoming SPF20 mist is perfect for taking about with you if you feel you need to top up on protection for incidental sun. Incidental is the operative word here – it’s not going to do the job of a full sun block by any means but a spritz to sit in outside on your lunch hour or if you feel you’ve been walking about in the sun too much and need a top up. SPF spritzes are becoming more and more popular (they’re huge in Asia but still a bit niche here) and I love them – even more so if they’re as pretty as this. Additionally, it has a little waft of ginger fragrance to it – it’s rather nice – inspired I think by spicy cocktails but it’s a cool ginger-beer in a glass for me. It’s £12 and launches May.
Again, all things sun and heat related – coming soon is the Cooling Lotion. I’ve got to be honest and say I don’t find it all that, er, cooling, despite it containing peppermint oil and menthol- but it’s not a particularly hot day. I was expecting something a bit more icy feeling I suppose. It can double up as a toner, condition sticky skin (it’s not drying as it contains olive oil so actually a lovely product to apply to some cotton wool and pat over sweaty skin) or as a general refresher. I think it probably needs to be kept in the fridge for the best effect. It launches June for £22.
