I have a few bits and bobs from this collection to swatch.. as usual, I’m in love with the packaging.

It’s a bit of a mixed bag in reviewing though. Not everything lives up to expectations this time around.

The Eye and Lip Glosses are only partly successful – love the lip gloss ends; no complaints there, but the texture of the eye glosses is really hard to apply with a doe’s foot applicator. I had to use my finger in the end – it’s just slightly too slick and unreliable. I found with the lilac colour – which should be perfect – there is very little lilac once it’s on the eye – it just disappears to a very twinkly gold shimmer that annoying drops once the gloss has dried off a bit. This is from the Nice Eye & Lip Duo. The neutral is Santa Monica. They’re £28 each.

You can’t wear on the eye the amount that I have used on the swatch and while the buff shade is lovely both in swatch and on the eye for a neutral pearly finish, the lilac just doesn’t do the job.

The gloss shades are beautiful though – completely wearable for a sheer wash of colour.

The Eye Pencils are soft, soft and soft! The brown ended one is St Tropez and the blue is Las Palmas.

Dual end means that there’s plenty of versatility and plenty of pigment. Shown above are Las Palmas and St Tropez other ends. They’re £22 each.

These launch on 1st May.
