More beautiful packaging from Paul & Joe that make it look so glamorous. These are a couple of the new Lip Colors launching in October and they’re super-shiny.
Quite an intense red, hey? What’s interesting about these glosses, apart from the packaging, is that they have a new wandy-type-thing (yes, of course that’s a technical term) that’s very flexible and different to a traditional doe foot.
I’m not sure I love them to be honest.. they don’t really feel as safe as a doe’s foot, but then, we’ve needed to move on from those for years so maybe I’m being fussy. The flexibility of them should mean they hug the lip but when I tried, I went over the edge a bit and I’m not sure they are quite as accurate in loading gloss from tube as a does foot or brush. Lol.. starting to sound like an old lady complaining about ‘new fangled contraptions’! They’re fine, honest, just rather different!
The glosses shown here are Next To Nothing and Cabaret.. you can instantly tell which is which! They’ll cost £20 each.

Hi Jane,
These are lovely swatches, that red is gorgeous and shiny. Not sure about the nude colour, I can never make them work with my skin tone. Do you know if they have good lasting power? Hope so, otherwise it’s a bit too expensive at £20 a pop!
The applicator looks similar to the one in the Shiseido Integrate True Shiny Glosses, not that new in Japanese makeup but probably the first of this type to be released here. Hope it catches up, I really liked how it applies the colour evenly.
I NEED THE RED ONE!!!! >.<
The red one looks ultra glossy and pigmented. What a great party season gloss that could be (not that I go to many parties). But it looks very glam
