There’s a beautiful new body range coming from Paul & Joe that’s absolutely gorgeous – it’s bursting with glamour and a little like the Guerlain Lingerie Spray, is all about self indulgence. I’m convinced we’ve got so caught up in the heavy duty anti-ageing, don’t let your skin get dry, slap on the SPF, that we’ve forgotten how far a little pampering can go.
One of the things I love about the beauty industry is that it can just be All About You and that’s something I don’t think women, in particular, get to indulge in too often. Away from the constant hectoring from brands about how vital and essential it is to never let your skin get anywhere near a wipe, or your hair to lack hydration for just one second, sometimes it’s just so nice to kick back with something silly and utterly non-essential like a scented powder puff and pretend you’re Marilyn Monroe. It does more good than harm, I guarantee.
Anyway, this fabulously pampering range launches in October and comprises a Body Milk, Body Powder, Hair & Body Mist and a Treatment Balm, all very lightly fragranced – to me it’s a floral orange scent – and prices start at £20.
