The first thing to say about the Orla Kiely Sicilian Lemon Candle is that it’s perfect for summer, both in presentation and scent. I don’t think you get a big blast of fragrance from these candles, but it’s certainly enough to leave a gentle trail of lemon. What I like about this particular lemon scent is that it’s just a tiny bit sweetened so it made me think of lemon meringue pie but a low sugar version! I love Orla Kiely for gifting – although I never actually think to buy it for myself; the range always feels like it should be presents for other people rather than a pretty thing for me.
It’s not really a complicated fragrance either – a kind of very pretty does what it says on the tin job. I’ve spotted this at Ocado of all places but it’s got 25% off making it £18.75 instead of £25 and I think that’s very reasonable for this level of presentation and product. It’s HERE.
