Origins Zero Oil

One of the most commonly asked questions on my blog is how to deal with oily skin that needs moisture but reacts badly to oil in products. I’m always at a bit of a loss to answer these queries because there is oil in almost everything that moisturises. So, when I was shown the new Zero Oil by the PR I begged her to send pictures straight away so I can put the word out that there’s something that might just stop exacerbating oil related break outs launching imminently. All the products (other than Instant Matte) contain Saw Palmetto, Kelp and Mint extracts – all oil control power players.

Clinical findings sound, on the surface, pretty good, with the following results:

Immediate clinical improvement in:
√ Clarity
√ Moisture
√ Unclogged pores

After 4 weeks:
√ Reduction in oil
√ Reduction in the appearance of pore size
√ Improvement in skin smoothness
√ Improvement in skin tone

The range incorporates the following and launches next week.

Zero Oil™ Deep pore cleanser with Saw Palmetto and Mint
Zero Oil™ Pore purifying toner with Saw Palmetto and Mint
Zero Oil™ Oil-free moisture lotion with Saw Palmetto and Mint
Zero Oil™ Instant matte finish for shiny places

And if you’re thinking there’s a lot of cutting and pasting from the press release, you’re right…but I can’t really say it any better than Origins have done, and I’m rushing to watch the England football game!!

Will definitely have to check this out. It sounds promising for the warm summer months, just hope it can work for combination skin too.
