Origins Nanette Lapore

Origins is a brand that comes into its own for gifts – it’s one of the few Lauder brands that crosses face, hair, make-up and body properly. I’m not a regular user of Origins (because I’m always testing different things) but when I do have an excuse to give it a go, I’m always delighted. This year, the Origins Nanette Lapore wash bag is big draw – spend over £50 and you get it free. Is it just me or is that the gift pretty much wrapped? I’d pop it in the paper carrier bag with sliver of tissue and a bow, and job done.

If that’s not quite enough effort in the wrapping department, Origins wrap all your Christmas buys for free anyway. I’m really good at wrapping (one of very few boastable talents!) but tubes or bottles – there’s just no way to individually wrap them and make them look great, so when there’s an odd shape, I either box them up or do something, if it’s a nice bag, with the original bag. I think the Origins Nanette Lapore bag is a very sweet and pretty extra. Maybe your gift recipient need never know and you can just keep it for yourself. Yes, do that.

It’s available from Selfridges London, Harrods London, John Lewis everywhere and Arnotts Ireland from 13th November while stocks last.
