Origins Maskmizer is a pre-mask mist that supposedly softens pores and makes the outer layer of skin more receptive to any mask that goes on top of it.
I do like the idea of this – I just don’t know how you’d prove that it has done anything. I love an Origins mask and have plenty of them, so over time, maybe I will be able to tell but I am a little bit reminded of the pre-shampoo shampoo that everyone kind of went “whaaa?” about. It’s only the fact that it is Origins, a brand I really like and that hasn’t let me down on claims, that’s stopping me from doing my ‘wait a minute..’ face.
