Origins KissZing Lip Crayons

Whenever Origins brings out some make-up, I’m happy. Ever since I tried their Brightening Cream Eyeshadows, I’ve been a fan of their makeup. Although the Origins focus is firmly on skin care, if you haven’t tried their makeup you are missing something lovely.

So, next up from the brand are the Origins KissZing Lip Crayons with six sheer shades for softly coloured lips. Ingredient wise, there’s a good line up of butters and oils, including Meadowfoam Seed Extract, Mango Seed Butter and Jojoba Extract, so you can expect some softening action.

Origins KissZing Lip Crayons are perfect for someone like me who rarely wears a big smack of colour but wants a smidge of something that gives sheen (they’re not glossy) and a wash of a hue. My only complaint is that they’re minty – most people love mint (it’s a mix of mint and vanilla) but I don’t (except in a cocktail, and then it’s delicious!) particularly. The six shades are Pink Charming, Peach Peck, Coral Crush, Rosemance, Peonies In a Pod and Begonia Blush. In the swatch above the darker shade is Peonies in A Pod and the lighter shade is Pink Charming.

Origins KissZing has its launch in February in time for Valentine’s day for £16 each.

  3. My only complaint is that whenever I’ve tried to speak to someone on the Origins counter about their makeup, the SAs seems to know or care much about it! Shame as I think with a little help, I’d be able to make some decent purchases at a counter instead of resorting to online.

  4. I love wearing lip crayons as I prefer just a wash of colour on my lips & something that feels hydrating

  5. OOh now these look really good, I am obsessed with lip crayons, it is quite unhealthy x

I like the look of these. I too have their Brightening Cream Eyeshadows and love them. I find it makes a much better base/primer than many eye primers out there.
