I’m a bit of a Peanuts fan, although in my head, it’s always, always Snoopy. The first time I ever went to New York, I was obsessed with finding Snoopy merchandise – and you know in the way of an idiot abroad, I asked a taxi driver where we could buy some Peanuts stuff. He dropped us off on a corner next to a man selling actual peanuts and we were just too embarrassed to rectify the situation. So we were miles from where we wanted to be and had the indignity of having to buy the nuts in case the driver was looking in his rear view mirror. Just a horribly awkward memory, really. But, I’ve got lots of treasured Snoopy items from my teenhood – I’ve kept everything and there’s still a little Snoopy shaped place in my heart. The OPI Peanuts 2014 Collection is for Halloween, so I don’t know if we’ll get it here (image from ChicProfile) but there are some awesome swatches from nail bloggers who didn’t look at this and wonder how to wear Woodstock coloured nails. I might not be prepared to rock a Snoopy related nail, but I am absolutely getting this sweatshirt from Uniqlo HERE for £19.90. And maybe a bag of peanuts for old time’s sake.
