As it turns out, Maybelline Color Show Polka Dots in Chalk Dust is EXACTLY the same as Boots Seventeen Off The Wall Graffiti.
Boots Off The Wall GraffittiHere they are side by side:
Graffitti vs Color ShowFirst nail is Seventeen Graffitti and second nail is Maybelline Color Effects Polka Dots in Chalk Dust. I don’t think the Seventeen shade has launched yet so it will be interesting to do a price comparison.

Wowsers!
Is this a dupe for L’oreal confetti too?
These are all copies of what, as far as I know, is the original black and white matte glitter nail polish topper, ‘Connect the Dots’ by indie polish seller Lynderella. Her polish was widely considered a ‘lemming’ (i.e. highly desirable) but very difficult to find by the nail bloggers, then Lynderella had a sort of public meltdown with resulted in a loss of goodwill among her customer base. In the meantime, a number of other indie polish manufacturers (it’s an amazing little cottage industry) started making their own versions (e.g. Sticks and Stones by Ninja Polish) and then, finally, the big corporations took notice. There have been a few of the big brands doing these this year (e.g. Loreal’s confetti topcoat). Seeing this all unfold has been rather interesting.
There is also a L’Oreal version which is exactly the same.
I really want that Seventeen top coat! I haven’t yet tried the L’Oreal confetti top coat yet, so I might give it a whirl! x
