I know that the Nude Skincare Sets are intended for the gifting market, but to be honest, small size kits are the best way to trial a skincare brand yourself. Be thinking gift-to-self here! Nude is a pricy brand, but I haven’t met a product from their range I didn’t like (other than when they messed about with their gorgeous oil, which is now messed back to just about where it was!) so it’s an easy recommend from me. I know it’s safer to stay loyal to your favourite brand – why fix it if it ain’t broken? So, switching up your range has had to be a leap of faith before small-size try me kits started appearing. Either that, or hope for a sample from counter to try, but not all brands have counters. The Double Dose of Genius Set (above) is well priced at £20 with a £41 value – and both products are vegan. Rescue Oil and Treatment Milk contain a natural retinol alternative (bakuchiol) and omega rich pant oils. While it’s absolutely not my job to sell products for brands, I really can’t think that anyone would be disappointed with this, although if you have very oily skin, I think there are better things.

The second small size kit is the Triple Skin Rescue Set (athough if anyone has triple skin, do let me know). Inside this neat little box is Perfect Cleanse Omega Cleansing Jelly (a must try on its own!), Detox Brightening Fizzy Powder Wash x 10 sachets and ProGenius Omega Treatment Rescue Oil. I love Fizzy Wash anyway – it’s upstairs in my bathroom – and yes, it does kind of fizz on the skin, but leaves it looking bright and breezy thanks to exfoliating action. Cleansing Jelly really is jellyish – a sort of smoother kind of cleansing balm and cleanses to perfection.

I know the team behind Nude (now owned by LVMH) – they’ve really taken their time on reformulating and bringing out exactly the right products for the range. I know so much thought has gone into what you see now and I genuinely think it shows. I don’t really like writing about skincare but I always make a space for this brand which should tell you something. There are no parabens, sulphates, PEGs, TEA, DEA, propylene glycol, phthalates, petrolium, synthetic colour, synthetic fragrances, mineral oils or silicones in any of the products. The Triple kit is £30 with a £36 value.

I don’t have a launch date yet for the Nude Skincare Sets, but stuff your own stockings with these!
