The Nicest Thing…

If you are a reader of this blog, you’ll know that Le Metier Beaute and I had a sticky moment back in the summer when I posted about the brand and got some comments that were blatant plugs for their launch at Liberty. It was discovered that later that the comments weren’t posted by people at Le Metier, but possibly somewhere an over enthusiastic SA getting carried away – which I also flagged up on the blog. I reviewed their mascara and have recently come back to using a sample of blush that they sent that literally does last the whole day. So, things didn’t get off to the greatest start. However, a little while back I was lusting after their USA exclusive palette developed in collaboration with Roopal Patel, huge cheese at Bergdorf and Neiman Marcus and highlighted it as the perfect palette on this blog. Today in the post, I received the palette as a gift with a beautiful hand written note from Le Metier. This was such an unexpected, thoughtful and very much appreciated touch, I thought I’d share it with you. Just goes to show it’s the little things that end up adding up to something really big.
