No trip to Paris is complete without a visit to the pharmacy. They’re a cornucopia of skin care ranges with a semi-medical slant, so ranges for sensitive skin or rosacia are popular. You can expect to see La Roche Posay, BioDerma, Avene, Lierac and Uriage. I discovered that my beloved BioDerma now has a milky fluid version of their makeup remover and I picked up a bottle of something I hadn’t heard of, a micellar makeup remover called SVR Laboratories Provegol for about 19EU.

BioDerma Crealine Milk Sensitive Skin is about EU15 and is a gorgeously light and cooling cleanser. It was more than adequate removing my makeup but if I had to compare the two, the BioDerma H2O Micellar is just a little bit better. SVR Provegol is also a micellar formula for sensitive skin and contains calendula. They claim that it is the only formula on the market tested to remove waterproof make up, and it contains glycerine to moisturise and protect the hydrolipidic film. I really like this one, but once again, BioDerma H2O Micellar just beats it!
