New Body Shop Colour Crush Lipsticks

Oh, wow! Look what the Body Shop has been up to. Their new Colour Crush lipsticks are just fabulous. Split into three colour categories; nudes, reds and pinks, they’re made with Fairtrade marula oil and you can definitely tell that the formula is superior. They are butter-soft with a beautiful gleam to them and their nude selection in particular is so beautifully edited. I am a fan already because these will hold their own against any premium lipsticks. I’ll swatch all of them but I’ve started with the nude collection and will do the others in the next few days.

The slight glitch in my swatching plan is that the names were on the outer plastic packaging which I had to take off… and erm, didn’t realise they weren’t on the bottom of the lipsticks as well. But, I think you get the idea of the nude and neutral selection – there are at least four that I would wear now!

They’re £10 each and launching in 20th August. Oh, and if you check in my sidebar, Body Shop have a great offer for 25% off anything – last year’s revamp of Colour Crush Eye Shadows would be my recommendation.

  1. These really remind me of a lipstick collection Body Shop had in 2010.
I was in a local branch recently and looked at some lipsticks that had similar packaging to those in 2010. I was searching for a lipstick I lost that was a great summer colour (it was a coral red) but these current ones seem to be more intense and creamier then I remember and they also didn’t have the shade I was looking for. I’m curious if anyone knows if Body Shop changed the formula but kept the packaging or if there actually was another collection (aside from the sheer lip colour ones) that was discontinued?
I love your blog Jane, you do such an amazing job 🙂
