It’s always a little bit lethal, time-wise, for me to get lost, cyber-speaking, in Japan. Hours pass. This time, I am looking at new gadgets.

Above is the Panasonic Nano Care Day Moisturiser. Apparently, if you expose your skin and hair to it for 8 hours a day continuously (just by plugging it into the same room you are in), it improves the condition of your skin and hair. By ‘improving condition’ they mean skin tightening and hair shine. It needs to be 50cm away from your face, and you can plug it into your usb port while you work. I have absolutely no way to know if it works; but those are some claims.
The one thing I find a little odd is that they suggest using it for 8 hours continuously a day, when surely the one time you are in the same place for 8 hours straight is at night, in bed.

Next up, also from Panasonic is the Eye Steamer. Ouch. They say this is an easy aesthetic eye treatment in 12 minutes to help prevent dry and fatigued eyes. Apparently, a tiny amount (not even visible) of steam at 40 C can help with ‘office’ eyes and I guess, if it works, it’s a really good idea since we are welded to screens these days. It’s not the scorchy torture I thought it might be at first glance, and I can definitely see a place for this – especially the morning after the night before.

Oh my, that last one looks absolutely terrifying. The other two sound quite interesting, but I have no idea when I’d be in the same room for eight hours straight, seeing as I’m constantly running around all day!
