[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] The Neom Real Luxury Wellbeing Soak is firmly one of my favourite things to put in my bath – after saying it was too expensive in the initial review. I think it is pricy at £45 HERE but you really only do need a few drops for it to fulfill the brief of nourishing the skin with oil while smelling incredible. So, this time around, for the Real Luxury Cocooning Shower Gel, I won’t be so hasty.
I’m not really a shower fan – I much prefer a long and lazy soak in the bath – so if you’re the same, trust me, you can use this as a body wash in the bath too. It’s creamy and foamy with a soft lather that’s scented with lavender, geranium and cedarwood essential oils – all the right notes to provide a relaxing, spa-like scent and I can’t really fault it. Not for you if you’re sensitive to essential oils, but otherwise, the evening primrose enriched formula is absolute bliss.
At £30, it’s not cheap, but it’s a big old bottle at 500ml and maybe best saved for when you’ve got time to appreciate it properly. I gave a shower gel (not this one!) to a friend who has recently had her third baby and she was really so thrilled that there was something designated entirely for her when at this moment in her life, nothing else is. I forgot that the gift of permission not to share and to take a moment of space is so precious at times. It was very sweet to hear her other two children chattering…’it’s mummy’s shower gel…it’s not for us’ and being completely cool with that. You can find Neom Real Luxury Cocooning Shower Gel HERE.
