I’m really such a fan of gel effect nail polishes when they’re done right. Which, the Nails Inc A/W 2014 Gel Effects are. A thicker consistency than regular polishes hides a multitude of sins, and especially nail ridges. These have a super-glossy finish although personally, I don’t like to leave any polish without a quick dry top coat. Above, the shades are: Uptown, New Oxford Street and my favourite, Grosvenor Crescent, a blackened blackberry.

In this shot, shades are Hyde Park Place, Old Bond Street (my least favourite – I hate that type of biro blue) and West End.

On the swatch from top to bottom, Grosvenor Cresent, New Oxford Street, Uptown, West End, Old Bond Street and Hyde Park Place. There is no top coat on the swatches so you can see it’s an exceptional shine.
Not shown, but also in the Nails Inc A/W 2014 Gel Effects collection are raspberry shade, Beaufort Street, and Old Burlington Street in navy. I’m a little late in featuring these so they’ve already launched for £14 each HERE.

I love the look of these colours and I’m still in love with the bottle design!

I like that shade of blue used in Old Bond Street, but I think it would look better as an eye-liner rather than a nail polish. I wonder if such an eye-liner exists.
