Okay, so I have finally had a chance to test and swatch the MUA BBs. My skin tone is slightly olive, and I thought that Medium would be my shade, but I’m finding they come up quite light and I turned out to be Dark. Light is really pale and is for the fairest of complexions.

The texture feels quite thick at first on the skin but does give a good luminosity and did well evening out my skin tone. MUA say it’s a primer, concealer and flawless foundation all rolled into one and for £4 a tube, it is exceptional value for money. Nobody is pretending this is Armani and it doesn’t have the sheerness or lightweight texture that more expensive bases have but as a totally decent functioning base, it’s really not bad at all.

As far as I’m aware though there is no SPF included and I thought that element was crucial in composition of a BB. However, at £4 I can’t really quibble; it’s a great base for the money. It launches into Superdrug later this month and on www.musastore.co.uk.

oh balls, i didnt realise this didn’t have a SPF xx
wow, i think now everybody’s just taking the chance to throw out a new plain foundation or tinted moisturiser, hoping to swim with the wave of success by labelling it “BB”.
I love MUA. Who cares if it’s not got SPF, add your own. It’s £4. And as we all know MUA are amazing. The value for money you’re getting is exceptional.
This looks really nice. Shame theres only three shades though. I think I’m definitely gonna have to try this out!
It’s such a shame they don’t have the added SPF! The 17 BB Cream does and it’s still under a tenner. But, the Light shade does look perfect for someone as pale as myself so I think it’ll be worth a go.
