Since there was a lot of interest in the Malin + Goetz fragrance discovery sets, I’ve been looking around for a few more. If you don’t know about The Perfume Society, that’s where the good ones are to be found, in particular the Escentric Molecules set for £25.
The set is 10 x 2ml and it’s HERE. Finally, a chance to see what the storm is about regarding this man-made aroma-molecule range!
I tried my first JUS fragrance earlier this year – Gingerlise, which I really liked. At £30, this is a great one for the perfume adventurers with samplers for Coffeeze, SexyCrush and SpringPop which sound like all of the fun. It’s HERE.
Over at The Perfume Shop, there’s a little Moschino set that is fab – Moschino Toy, Moschino Fresh, Moschino Gold Fresh and Moschino Toy Boy – for £14.99 HERE. Actually, The Perfume Shop has introduced a Try Me option on many of their fragrances so when you order, you’ll receive a sample as well so you can smell that before opening the full size. If you don’t like it, simply return it. It’s a longer way around sampling but I think it bends to the given situation pretty well. There’s also an intro by me in their Perfume Predictions Brochure which was interesting to write and think about – The Art of Evoking Perfume Stories Online – I don’t think I’ve mastered that but it did give me a chance to say what I think about fragrance cliches (strong in the boardroom, kitten in the bedroom etc, yawn).
