If you like your make-up candy cute and sweet smelling, you’re going to love Models Own Sweet Shop Collection. There are five ‘flavours’; Gumball, Liquorice Allsorts, Rhubarb & Custard, Fizzy Cola Bottles and Pear drops. Each polish takes on the scent of a sweet on the dry down (not while they’re wet) and a lovely touch is the scratch and sniff bottle lid.
I’ve swatched three of the colours – from bottom to top: Rhubarb & Custard, Liquoirce Allsorts and Pear Drops. Rhubarb and Pear Drops both have tiny glitter flecks in them while Liquorice is just a straightforward, glossy black. I have to say I found them a little thin on the application – two coats of anything is standard but I felt they needed three to look properly colour staturated. But, you know, they’re fun; the colours are spot on for a summer sparkle (apart from Liquorice) and they’re a snip at £5 each HERE.
