I’m really not feeling it for the Models Own Colour Chromes this time around. I don’t know it’s the colour selection but for a ‘molten metal’ line up, it’s not all that molten.
They look a little streaky here but in fact, they’re not at all once they’re really dry but still…. I think I want a little more fire and foil effect with liquid metals and these are all just a bit flat. The exception is the grey shade which has a violet edge to it and that’s not something you can easily come across in a metallic formula. They may lift a little with a super shiny topcoat, but on first look, there’s just something missing. It’s really not helped by the bottles which are ultra shiny – I think that’s what I wanted for my nails – so anything coming out of them is going to look underlit by comparison.
