For a brand that’s best known for its nail polish, the Models Own Chrome Eyeshadow Palette is certainly unexpected. I think it’s a sign of things to come for a brand so watch that space! The palette is an off-shoot of the Colour Chrome nail polishes and if I’m honest, I was rather expecting a tray of oily shadows. However, while, yes, to a certain degree they are on the oily side for cremes, their adherence is very good. Like, they don’t feel as wet as they look if you see what I mean!
Even the swatches taken in shadow show just how reflective these are – they’re reminding me of MAC for some reason. The only colour that’s just not working for me is the first one, which is a high shine white – it’s a little erratic in the application, but otherwise the formulas go on very smoothly.
Taken in sunshine, they spring to life! It’s a £5.99 palette that’s well worth having some fun with – I’d advise using an eye primer to help with the last but otherwise, I think it’s gorgeous.
Models Own Chrome Eyeshadow Palette is available from 1st July in Superdrug and on the Modelsown site. There are a couple of palettes from Modelsown listed on Superdrug already – nudes – so if you’re interested in exploring more of their makeup offerings, they’re HERE.

Oh wow! I’ve been hoping ModelsOwn would start doing more makeup than just the lip pencils and eyeliners, so this is fantastic!
the third one in from the left looks so pretty, just the kind of shade i would use, i might think about getting this! xx
The swatches look lovely but i do prefer powder shadows x

£5.99?! Beautiful colours will definitely be picking this up, thanks!
looks a bit like the illamasqua metallics, but significantly less spendy!
These shadows certainly look and sound lovely. I really like creamy shadows and the metallic are gorgeous. Thanks for another informative & honest review. 🙂
