Missoni Eau de Parfum
Missoni Eau de Parfum

I’ve had this sample for ages, but today is the brightest of winter days and suddenly the right moment has arrived. This fragrance needs sunshine. It’s Missoni’s new fragrance, simply called Missoni Eau de Parfum, and their first since 2008.

I have a list of notes (citron, pear, jasmine, tonka beans, lemon, amongst many others) but the over-riding note is sweet. I love a sweet fragrance, but even for me, it was a surprise – like an extra sugar in my tea. It dries down to something more gentle – still a full bodied fruity scent with plenty of flower power – and it’s just, well, kind of happy.

I love the bottle – various green and pink tonal elements bring it to life when the sun is out (note: don’t keep fragrance in direct sun light) and it makes me think of hot, hot days.

I’m not sure I’d pick it out for myself, but if you love your flowers with plenty of sweet sprinkles, I can see it could be quite addictive.

It’s a Harrods exclusive currently, from £60 HERE.
