The first thing the Miller Harris PR told me about this limited edition Valentine’s Day candle is that it IS very limited. Doing a stock check on Selfridges I can see that they are listing low stock already, so if you think it’s for you, don’t delay at all. If you don’t know the Rose Silence fragrance, it’s a very gentle, crisp rose and more of a calming companion candle to an indulgent bath or some proper pamper time than a full on room fragrance as such. It’s got a trail of patchouli and sandalwood in the down notes that don’t disrupt the rose, but instead, give it a tad more body. It’s for you if you don’t like a blast of rose, but more of a nuance. It’s pretty, for sure.
As you can see, the candle comes as a soft, opaque pink colour with a sticker sheet for you to decorate as you wish. I’ve kept mine simple – you could really go to town with this – and love the transformation. Personally, I don’t need hearts and flowers gimmicks for Valentine’s day but once those stickers are on the candle fits right into my aesthetic and it’s pleasing for any time of the year. It’s £45 HERE.
