MILK Make Up Cooling Jelly Water Tint Review

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] These are my favourite type of products to review – I got quite a spring in my step when they arrived. MILK Make Up Cooling Jelly Water Tints are back – last year they sold out within 24 hours so I’m hoping I’ve got this review out in time.

‘Cooling’ products rely heavily on the evaporation of water as the product hits your skin and sure enough, you’ll find little beads of water on the top of each jelly – they’re meant to be there so nothing to worry about. Take the (inner) lid off carefully because a few droplets might fall from the stick. The ingredients include sea water and aloe.

Just look at how glossy and gleaming they are! Shades from left to right are: Spritz, Burst, Chill and Splash. If you allow your tone to warm in the sun, these are the perfect sheer colour pops to give a natural looking flush to tanned cheeks. I’d have it in my holiday bag any day of the week.

I’m wearing Splash (pink) on my left cheek and Spritz on my right. You have to remember that the MILK Make Up Cooling Jelly Water Tint is basically a solid water tint.

It’s translucent, gleaming and actually quite high on pigment given the transparency of it. It’s strikingly cooling on the cheeks (or lips, because you can wear it there too) when you apply which is just delicious and if you choose to keep it in the fridge, get ready for shivery cheeks! Longevity isn’t amazing as you might imagine, especially if you are wearing SPF, moisturiser or base underneath so you will need to reapply as time goes on. They’re £22 each (pricy) and I’m referring you to SpaceNK who have (at the time of writing) all the shades HERE. I see that Sephora has already run out of a couple of the colours.

I love Milk bronzer stick & blusher stick but these tints look a bit shiny for me…. I’m not a fan of the sweaty look on me as I live in a hot climate anyway! They look good on you though

Yes, possibly so although I will say that the ‘shine’ reduces over time. But if it’s hot anyway, maybe not for you 🙂
