[productsample/gratis] This is very much a traditional Valentine’s Day fragrance (if there is such a thing) in that it’s very soft, very feminine and very floral. It’s the whispy, pink negligee of perfumes. I love Michael Kors fragrances – rarely meet one I don’t like but this isn’t one that I’d choose for myself.
There are so many notes in this that it’s slightly chaotic but I pick out rose and vanilla above all else. The fruity mix includes lychee, pink pepper, rose petals, pear, cassis, jasmine, lily, frangipani… see what I mean? There’s a sandalwood finish that gives it some balance on the dry down and it’s actually rather smooth and creamy which is pleasant. It’s not horrible by any means but it’s just a little too fruity-vanilla for my personal taste but I can see it as a ‘romantic’ fragrance for a special occasion. Better news still is that it’s reduced by £19 to £29 at The Perfume Shop if you have one locally, or otherwise online HERE where you might scrape in on time for the 14th in just under a week.
