Melvita L’Argan Bio

There’s something a bit special about oil in cream formulas – one of my absolute favourites is from Garnier – so my eyes lit up (no, not literally) when I spotted this newbie from Melvita.

My skin loves Argan as it is – so does my hair – and I put Melvita L’Argan Bio Body Oil In Cream to the test over the weekend. The formulation of the cream is quite loose so it blends like a dream with very little working into the skin. It gives instant softness as you would expect from a body cream and left my skin looking instantly softer and nourished. It’s worth noting that there is a high concentration of fatty acids (25%) which means the moisture lasts all day. The scent is gorgeous – it’s described as jasmine, wisteria, peach, bergamot and orange but the overall result is a little bit sweet and a little bit fruity.

At £19 I think it’s rather expensive for a body cream because the tub isn’t all that big (175ml) and if your skin is really dry it’s not going to last a long time. But as a treat to self for winter skin that’s feeling the effects of central heating and a gorgeous scent that’s just kinda happy it’s a lovely product.
