Luckily, I don‘t get spots, but when a younger friend got a horrible outbreak on his chin, I gave him Medik8 BetaGel to try. And, wow! Within three days the outbreak had reduced dramatically; the redness and anger had gone out of the blemishes and the whole area just looked massively better. There was no skin drying often associated with spot treatments. Medik8 BetaGel has azelaic acid and salicylic acids to whip off dead skin cells and unclog pores, as well as cleaning deep inside the pores to get rid of excess sebum and decreasing the chance of infection. There’s also a drop of rosemary oil so it isn’t the most gorgeous of smells – in fact, it just smells quite clinical really – but it is really an incredibly effective treatment for spots that I’ve seen with my own eyes. One to have in the emergency cupboard I think. It’s about £29 but I’ve seen it across the interwebs for less so do shop around.

did you miss me? i missed you!!
who cares about what it smells. this stuff looks like it’s potent and that everyone should own it. they should do mini sample sachets of this. I am scared i buy a huge pot of this and then I need to throw it away 3/4 of the way through. x -
