Maybelline Master Ink

Maybelline Master Ink

The Maybelline Master Ink in Satin is the nearest I think I’ve seen for a vinyl effect liner – it definitely holds a sheen to it, and the Matte Version in indeed a very flat matte black.

The matte version doesn’t look as dense in this swatch, but I don’t think I shook the bottle well enough because I’ve just retested and it’s pitch black. I don’t use these types of liner myself because you need such a steady hand (even my swatch is wobbly) so I’ll have to wait for a glossy pencil version! These haven’t launched on line yet but well worth looking out for in store if you love – and can apply – a super sleek line.

  2. I haven’t used this type of eyeliners for a while (in favour of the felt tip style ones) but will be picking up the matte. Have been searching for matte felt tip one for a while. It’ll be interesting to see if I can still use these :S

  3. I like how there is a satin and matte finish, giving you a choice. I really like the sound of this, definitely will be checking this out.

Wow I love these! As soon as these hit stores I need them! For another vinyl finish, Essence Liquid Ink (wet look) is super shiny however it crumbles a bit if you are an eyerubber/facetoucher!

L’Oreal Superliner in Black Lacquer also has a shiny, vinyl like finish, but this crumbles (for me) later in the day. I do love the pen tips on the Superliner though, I find them really easy to use.
