Maybelline Master Ink Glitter

I know there are many fans of Maybelline Master Ink so right on time for Halloween is the new Maybelline Master Ink Glitter in Black Gold. I really like any blackened golds – the dark pigment stops any stark eye look that you can get with gold, especially with eye liner. Although you have to give it a good old shake (because it’s watery without being properly mixed) this really does deliver in terms of depth and shimmer.

As you can see, there is plenty of shimmer. On the skin, it literally glides across making it even more important that you’ve shaken the tube first – you can get get a slightly glitterless glide which then means going over again. I can’t get it right once, never mind twice!

Anyway, not much more to tell you other than that it launches sometime towards the end of October and it’s £4.99. If you were planning to do any body art for Halloween, I find that Maybelline Master Ink really does have good adherence – get practicing those skulls!

I already have this: bought 2 weeks ago in Boots…and it is lovely.

Maybelline eyeliners give a terrible reaction on my skin. My eyelids start burning so bad that I had to wash it off every single time I tried to apply. And I’m not even someone who ever gives reaction to any product! in general I’ve been very unhappy with all maybelline eye and lip products since I only seem to be reacting to whatever this brand uses in their ingredients list.
