Imagine if you had to ask for this mascara – it’s quite a mouthful! However, this is the third or fourth new mascara that I’ve seen with a more pared back wand and brush. I am really hoping that this means that finer brushes are about to be a trend and we can say goodbye to wafting something the size of a baby mouse around our eyes. As you can see, the further end is wider than the beginning which is more in line with how a natural lash fringe is and I really liked it in testing – it gave a deep black, well defined, no clumps, longer lash look which I feel is pretty much all of the things you want in a mascara. It does give quite a full, dense coating so go gently at first.
I wore Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious Full Fan Effect Mascara all of yesterday and it stayed the course – I used the Cailyn balm that I wrote about yesterday to remove and it’s testament to this mascara that it did struggle a bit for a complete removal. There’s not a great deal more to say about it – for the money, I highly rate it. It’s launching in May for £7.99.
