Unless you’re exceptionally averse to the scent of Fruit Salad sweeties, there’s just nothing not to like about the Maybelline Baby Lips Gloss. I’ve got the three sheerest I think from a selection of seven shades, but they’re all pastelly washes that are perfect for a nude/natural lip look with just a hint.
They remind me of early Stila glosses, actually, with a milky glaze and I loved those then and still do now. Difference is that the Maybelline versions are £4.99. In terms of texture, they feel like they have all of the ‘tack’ of gloss but none of the ‘sticky’ and I’d very happily chuck these in my handbag. The sweetie ‘flavour’ wears off pretty quickly, thankfully, and although you’ll have to make plenty of top-ups as with most glosses, these are just the easiest of wears. They’re HERE.
