Max Factor Colour Effect Mini Nail Polish

After the Max Factor Fantasy Fire storm (and I just checked on ebay.com where the highest Buy It Now price I can see is $31.80) I got a little side-tracked and didn’t post about the rest of the range. So here it is. The new minis come in 18 shades divided into colour stories, Brooklyn, Daltson, Via Tortona and Marais, named after the coolest parts of four key cities; New York, London, Milan and Paris. They should all be in the shops now at £3.99 each.

The Brooklyn Collection:

From bottom left: Pretty in Pink, Cappuccino (above Pretty in Pink), Mellow Yellow and Chilled Lilac

 The Dalston Collection:

From Bottom Left: Candy Blue, Cactus Green, Lollipop and Cool Jade

The Marais Collection:

From Top: Lacquer Noir, Purple Haze, Prussian Blue, Ruby Tuesday and Juicy Plum

The Via Tortona Collection (with Fantasy Fire!)

(sorry can’t tell individual shades from press release but Fantasy Fire is the very bottom one)

I got my FF the other week and it was the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen in a bottle. I got it with very little trouble from Boots. Its pretty, but not worth $31 for sure. It’s better in the bottle then on the nail IMO which is a shame but hey, it’s just a polish. Very interested in the new shades. They look vibrant and exciting.

  2. Ooo yes, pay day needs to hurry up so I can get my hands on these. I love the Brooklyn collection!

  3. They are gorgeous! Blue is my favorite nail polish color, and I like every shade of blue that I see here. Mini polishes are so cute too.

Lovely! I quite like this new trend for small bottles, I don’t think I’ve ever managed to finish a ‘full sized’ one before.

  5. Are these available in the US? I haven’t been able to find them anywhere! Help, if you can. Thank you so much

  6. I love the Brooklyn and Dalston colours. As far as Fantasy Fire goes on eBay, a fool and her money and all that.

  7. The polish to the left of fantasy fire is Meteorite and the navy one is blue odyssey. I have those two as well as FF, need to get the green one though it is lush!

Ooh! Pretty in Pink and Cactus Green are beautiful! But I’ve told my bf I’m on a nail colour buying ban… Maybe if I buy them without him noticing…
