Mark Hill MiracOILicious

I thought you’d like to know a very sweet story from behind the scenes about this new range from Mark Hill.

A few weeks ago I went along to a small group session for the launch of the product. Mark Hill was meant to be there, but wasn’t. Instead, he had sent his Creative Director Jules Holland (no, not *that* one).  It wasn’t a usual launch – Jules was slightly at sixes and sevens having been drafted in at the very last minute because Mark’s wife had gone into labour unexpectedly and had quite literally just moments before had the baby.

While we heard about the products, secretly, we were all waiting for updates on whether it was a little boy or a little girl – Jules had forgotten to ask! It added a very personal element to the launch and made it very exciting. By the time we left, we still didn’t know boy or girl, so I’ve just had a quick update from Mark’s PR – a little girl, Honey Rose. Welcome Honey Rose!

Despite the distractions, I’ve had a chance to try the shampoo and conditioner from the range – it’s got plenty of essential oils and extracts including Argan Oil, Ylang Ylang, Spearmint, Sandalwood and Sage and is designed to strengthen brittle and fragile hair, smooth frizzies and nourish any heat damage away. One of the USPs of the range is that hair appears thicker and fuller – and it really, really does! I hadn’t read that bit of the release when I tried it (in fact, I’ve only just read it now) but if there is one thing to take away from how it performs, it is that is absolutely gives volume. No doubt.

MiracOILicious (in my head now called Honey Rose for Hair) launches on 3rd June.

  1. Kaci

Does that mean her initials are HRH?! Stealing the crown from Kate’s baby before she’s even born!

  2. Oooh those look gorgeous! I hope they are as high quality as I think they will be!

  3. THIS. IS. AMAZING. I always use Argan Oil related nourishing conditioners and while they really smooth and tame the hair, this is done at the cost of volume so this is exciting news 😀
