At first I thought these mini candles were exceptionally highly priced at £30.95, but in fact, they’re so much more than scented candles. Believe it or not, I’m using them as lip balm as I write!
The candles are made from organic soya wax which has a low melting point along with argan oil and shea butter ; a few minutes of fragranced burning and you have enough liquid soya/argan/shea to then use as a massage oil or a balm. The two candles are gently scented – don’t be thinking great bursts of overpowering fragrance – there’s nothing for the first few minutes and then as the flame starts to melt the wax, you get little wafts of fragrance. I’m using Indulge, which is a blend of ylang ylang, neroli and bergamot and it’s beautifully soft and sensual. I haven’t dared break out Passion – it’s not Mr BBB’s birthday or anything ;-).
If you haven’t heard of Marie Reynolds, she’s one of the UK’s most sought after facialists; she’s also incredibly intuitive and will knock you sideways with her quick ability to assess your personality. I wouldn’t even save these for Valentine’s day to be honest; they’re a lovely indulgent treat and I love that you can use up every single drop of ‘wax’ on your body.
