But, this Everything Goes With Blacquer set is a thing of beauty – in particular the make up bag featuring a vibrant tropical print straight from the runway.
I spotted a similar style MJ make-up bag in the Harrods sale reduced from £105 to £59.95 so the price of this set – £63 – doesn’t seem unreasonable with that in mind.
Contents are: full size Highliner Gel Eye Crayon in Blacquer, See-quins Glam Glitter Eyeshadow in Glitter Rock, Le Marc Lip Crème in Cream and Sugar and small size Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara in Noir. I’m a big fan of the Highliners – it’s hard to find such an even colour lay down at this intensity that also feel like air on the lids.
The colour selection is so stylish – I love that light peachy lip with a metallic silver eye and it’s not something I would have thought of as going well together, but it just does. Skin care is still going strong in the beauty market – make-up not so much, no matter what anyone says, so it’s good to see the re-emergence of exciting things that are more treats than practical purpose. I’ve been wearing next to no make up during lock down other than lipstick and this has made me feel sparked up again. It’s HERE, non-affiliate HERE.
