Mandara Spa
Mandara Spa

I know the new Mandara Spa Bali Santi products aren’t Hawaiian, but the scent made me think of bright flowers and my lei is the nearest thing to hand that’s as bright and tropical as the smell of Bali Santi. I always highly rate Mandara Spa products as being some of the best affordable bath and body treats you can get and Bali Santi is no different – it’s a smack of holiday, sun lotion, tiare flowers, coconuts and everything but the ticket to the tropics. The products contain coconut oil so they’re nicely moisturising – but a little heads-up: the Energising Body Scrub is like rolling yourself in gritty Nutella. It’s a dark brown consistency that uses coffee granules to exfoliate (messy) and I’m getting a nutty-chocolate vibe from it so if you love foodie fragrances, it’s a treat indeed.

Both the Body Milk and the Bath & Shower Cream are more tropical than foodie – just yummy! The key ingredients of the collection are coconut oil, yoghurt, lotus flower milk, sweet almond oil, rose petals, aloe and cocoa (there’s the Nutella, then!). It really is a collection for when summer is just around the corner – good mood fragrances that on smell alone make you smile.

Price wise, the Body Milk is £5, the Bath & Shower is £7 and the Scrub is £8. You can find them at Sainsburys (where you can get all the ingredients for the Bali Santi perfect partner – a Pina Colada!).
