[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] It would not be so long ago that my jaw would have dropped somewhat at a big spend on what is in effect an odour neutralising air freshener. But, I can truly say that my existing Malin + Goetz Home Spray in the first variant, tomato, is in constant use and a little goes a very long way. Mr BBB does a lot of cooking and I don’t like it when our house smells of dinner so I am a liberal spritzer after he’s cooked something particularly aromatic.
We’ve had my son, his partner and my niece staying with us last week and you know how awkward it can be doing the necessary in someone else’s house? I know that Malin + Goetz are going to hate that I’m mentioning bathroom smells but honestly, the Home Spray blitzes them immediately. And, here’s the thing – in both scenarios, there is no lingering artificial smell. It’s like having fresh air again with just a hint of tomato leaf. I’ve recently redecorated my beauty room – I’m not a fan of the smell of paint (in fact, my mum is allergic to it – it gives her migraines) so I used my tomato spray to neutralise it. I have used the Malin + Goetz Home Spray far more than I ever thought I would and yet, both bottles (yes, I have two) are not even half used up.
At the arrival of the two new variants, Otto and Sage, both my children and my niece immediately wanted them. I’m mean, I said no – because I love them and I am going to use them to the last drop. Malin + Goetz have used a new odour-neutralising technology in a water emulsion that really works by binding to any offending molecules, but the sprays are just as lovely as room fresheners – I’d love to walk into a freshly Otto spritzed room with its dewy rose notes. What a boost. Maybe more importantly, they’re pet safe – I don’t like the idea of Dora breathing in hefty chemicals – in fact, I could probably spritz her with Otto so she is even more delicious but I won’t – I don’t even let the groomers use the ‘baby powder’ shampoo. Imagine that though – a sweet little dog being all cute and smelling of roses.
I think, truly, as a elevation of a functional product, Malin + Goetz Home Sprays are exemplary. They’re £48 each HERE – but for me anyway, worth every last penny.
