The Makeup Revolution Protection Palettes are the last of the current new roll-out – although the rate at which MUR brings out new product, it won’t be long before there’s a whole new line-up.
The Makeup Revolution Protection Palettes are all about contouring and concealing. They’re powder formulas for contouring and blush/bronze, but creme formula for concealing (or, I guess, creme contouring).
Above is the Medium/Dark palette, although I think there is a need to go darker still. The powder formulas are super-soft – really silky feeling, and the concealer/creme is lighter in texture than you think it’s going to be.
I’ve swatched it up (please, please excuse the sleeve marks – #bloggerproblems) and you can see that it’s really warm – the cremes are the last three on the end. However, the Makeup Revolution Protection Palettes come in Light, Medium, Light/Medium and Medium Dark (as above) – all HERE – so other than very dark skin, all tones are catered for. Actually, these are very versatile palettes – my skin tone changes throughout the seasons, so I could adapt the light/medium as time goes on.
It’s that pop of pink for blush that has really grabbed me though – just a gorgeous, enlivening and exciting colour to wear. At £6 a pop, there’s just nothing to complain about.
Also launching into the Protection range are Cream Highlighter Palettes (HERE) and the link to the Pro Palettes from yesterday is HERE.
