Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro Palettes

So, the Revolutioneers have been at it again – creating purse-friendly palettes that create a myriad of looks. For the new Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro Palettes, it’s a more luxurious formula and a much, much better brush. I’ve started back to front because the image shown is Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro Palette 2.

This swatch is the top row – all matte shades. I love the nude shades especially in this and I can tell a difference in the softness of the matte formula. To be honest, I can’t tell that much of a difference in the sheens below.

Although I haven’t really caught the sheen here, they stop short of sparkle but do give a beam of light which I really like – the darker shades, as you can see, need a bit more blending. I always use a one finger swipe to swatch; sometimes that means you don’t quite get the full-on effect but I’m more interested in seeing what a product does straight away. I’d wear the khaki shade in a heartbeat myself.

So, here’s Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro Palette 1, again with the double-ended eye brush.

The swatches above are from the top row (I heard a PR call them ‘smears’ today – no, no, no!) and once again, they’re creamy mattes.

And, here are the sheens. My personal preference is always for sheens – I very rarely use mattes – but that makes me fussy about the ‘right’ sheen. These are spot on because they’re not glittery, but give lids a gorgeous glimmer that’s really pretty.

The new double ended brushes are vastly better than the old ones – and they’re made from synthetic hair.

The Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro Palettes hit the Makeup Revolution store tomorrow (Thursday 5th Feb) and they’re £6.99 each.

I’ve been hesitant to buy the Lorac Pro palettes because they’re about $40 and I don’t NEED more eyeshadows, but now I’m thrilled that inexpensive dupes are available! Considering how close Makeup Revolution’s dupes are for Urban Decay’s Naked palettes, I’m pretty excited about these!

This looks like a pretty good palette for around 7 pounds. What do they wear like?
Needless to say we don’t get this brand in Australia……
    The colours are lovely. Sigh….

I’m the same way with mattes and sheens. lol These palettes, especially this one, look & sound crazy good for the price. I so wish they were easier to get in the U.S. Thanks for the swatches!
