[unpaid/ad/purchased/affiliate] I was in my local Superdrug last week and just could not pass these I Heart Revolution highlighters by – I love anything beauty that goes the extra mile in visual entertainment and effort and just wanted to get them home and take pictures!

Makeup Revolution Fruity Highlighters

I bought the Soft Shimmer Blush in Strawberry, the Shimmering Highlight Powder in Pineapple and Soft Shimmer Blush in Peach. I *think* they were £4 each and they were on a 3-for-2 (great value if you have party bags or hen bags to fill or non-chocolate Easter presents).

I forgot how well pigmented Revolution make up is (I know my own palette with this brand HERE is exceptional pigment – and I think now on-line only as I haven’t seen it in store for a long time – but it’s ages since I used a highlight or blush from Rev) and you really do get a lot going on with these – maybe too much so go carefully and lightly at first. If you like a lot of shimmer, you’ll be pleased with these because it’s what they’re all about really – bringing some blaze to cheekbones with a pop of colour. They make me think of holidays and how shimmer always seems better with a lovely sunset as a backdrop.

I’m not sure I’d wear them myself but they appealed so hard to my inner make-up magpie and I’m pleased to have them (although my niece will probably be the final owner).

See what I mean?! They’re swatched at intensity but you can see you only need to waft a brush over the surface to get some colour. They’re HERE.
