Oh – new and daring colours with Makeup Revolution Atomic Shades Lipstick – if you’re feeling super brave have a go at Serpent, the green one!

These shades remind me of some of the Lime Crime colours – except the red, Ruby, which as far as I can tell looks an awful lot like MAC Ruby Woo. I wish I had one to hand to do a direct comparison, but it’s a long time since I had a tube of Ruby Woo. So, the shade line up from bottom to top is: Make It Right, Ruby, Make Me Magnificent, Make Me Tonight and Serpent. The finish on the Makeup Revolution Atomic Shades Lipstick is sheer – they’re not mattes – and the consistency is very creamy with a good pay-off.

They don’t last all day – my trial of Ruby gave a good few hours before it had gone completely but I’d say it needed topping up after a couple of hours. You’ll be able to find them on the Makeup Revolution site HERE in the next couple of weeks (more towards the end of the month) and they’re unbelievably £1 each.

Not sure I’m brave enough to try some of these, but for that measly price tag I might pick up a couple of the more wearable shades.

Ruby is a beautiful shade. I think it’s the only one I could pull off, and dare to wear. x

There is something a little Illamasqua-esque about Serpent!
