Make Up Store Spring Summer 2014 Fusion Collection

I love this Volcano shadow from Make Up Store – if you don’t know the brand, we have one store in London in Covent Garden and their site  is based in Sweden.

Here’s how Volcano, £11, swatches up – it’s an interesting effect I think and I’m afraid I had to do something that I hate doing and haven’t done for a long time – carve up the pot to ensure the effect went all the way through. Don’t look if you’re make-up squeamish!!

I just wasn’t sure enough on the finger swatch, but as you can see, the colours certainly do run all the way through and there is no overspray in sight.

They’ve also got a pink mascara coming – although why they didn’t put it on a white brush, I’m not sure. Do white mascara brushes exist? They’d certainly make the colour statement a bit better, I think.

This is the mascara, £16, swatched on my arm. Please excuse the goose-bumps – chilly times at BBB towers! I’ll cover off Make Up Store Fusion Collection Lips in another post, but for now, the Make Up Store site is HERE and the Fusion collection launches in March. It doesn’t seem that you can shop on-line yet but you can certainly have a browse in case you are in London at any point.

  1. I’ve walked past that shop so many times and never gone in. I will have to pop in and hunt out those Volcano shadows!

I love the eyeshadow, I think it’s really interesting. I don’t think I would ever use the mascara though!

  4. The shadow looks really pretty, I’ve never considered that the colour might not run all the way through the product! Thank you, going to bare that in mind when I buy shadows like this one 🙂
