I love the inspiration behind Mad Madame, the newest fragrance from Juliette Has A Gun. I met creator, Romano Ricci, last summer and can totally get that he has made a fragrance inspired by women who are, er, charismatic. 

I think the woman he is getting is the type we all know – the prim amongst us would consider her attention-seeking and impossible to get along with (unless you’re a man), she’s not that fussed about other women (all my best friends are men) and it doesn’t matter how outrageous her clothes are, she always looks show-stopping. She’s the one we all want to be like, deep down  – you know the type! I think most men find women like this absolutely magnetic so it’s quite inspired to tap into that jealous-love-hate thing and try and bottle that aura for other women.

With that in mind, the fragrance maybe won’t be unexpected. Full-on florals with a belter of patchouli and Animalys Absolut – but of course! Embracing, outrageous and of course, very sexy.
