[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Well, this spring fling collection is what my eyes needed to see. I think you can tell that I took these pictures on Wednesday when we had that weird orange cloud in the air – it looks like I’ve used a sepia tint. Instead of re-shooting I’ve kept it as is because I think it somehow suits the make up.
Wild Cherry is a small, limited edition collection from MAC with flower detailing on almost every item – certainly the blossom design is on all of the packaging but I haven’t seen everything. It’s not on the Brushstroke Liner, I do know that.
As you might expect, the colour theme is pink segueing into peach so all the make-up has those shade tones – I’ve surprised myself by absolutely loving the lipstick shade that I have here – Cheery Cherry. There are three shades of Love Me Lipstick.
There’s also three Glow Play blushes and I really like the Glow Play textures – kind of bouncy.. not melty creme and definitely not powder, and I can vouch for the fact that they last for a very long time. I have a couple in peachy shades that are my almost daily go-to and I haven’t even nearly used them up. HD Cherry Tree is a translucent bright pink and you need the tiniest amount – it’s my top pick from the selection.
The shade looks very deep in the pan but because it’s so sheer, you won’t get that impact – or at least, you’d have to do some serious layering!
It’s quite a strong pink in a shine texture that’s infused with argan oil – I think it’s one of MAC’s most wearable formulas … just enough sheen to look a little bit juicy but not so much it looks glossy.
Lipsticks are £22 HERE, Glow Play Blush is £26 HERE, and the whole collection is HERE.
Non-affiliate is HERE. Flowers came from MAC.
