MAC White Set For Selfridges

In amongst the many (too many) MAC launches coming up, including a Miss Piggy collection, a Daphne Guinness collaboration and a collaboration with Iris Apfel (think teal and coral eyes with a bit of a bird theme throughout) – if you don’t know who Iris Apfel is then read this New York Times feature on the 90 year old designer http://www.nytimes.com/2011/08/25/fashion/iris-apfel-90-stylish-and-on-hsn-up-close.html?pagewanted=all
who is, basically, all kinds of fabulous. But, more realistically, since those collections don’t launch til much later in the year, if not the New Year, I’ve got my eye on the White Set created specially for Selfridges White Christmas and actually looking pretty wearable, especially the nude palette. The collection is £42.50, launching I’m told in the next couple of weeks.

  1. Is that really MAC? It seems very elegant and understated. Kinda the opposite of MAC.

Sigh, between this and the Advent Calendar, I really wish Selfridges would just takeover Holt Renfrew in Canada (at least Beauty dept wise). They are owned by the same people!

Oh I love the look of this set, will definitely be keeping an eye out for it. This is the only place I have read about it, so glad you are on the ball!

  3. I am waiting for the collaboration with Gareth Pugh. Hope it won’t disappoint me!
