Everyone’s got a view on the MAC Viva Glam Miley Cyrus collaboration. I don’t really know a great deal about Miley Cyrus – all I know is one minute she was sweet and then the next she was twerking.

If the Viva Glam campaign wasn’t such a massive fund raiser for HIV/AIDS then I might think twice on this one. It’s literally millions and millions that gets poured into research and care, so you know..my note to self is to snap your thong and consider the bigger picture. So, to the colours and away from Miley’s bottom bobbing. The Viva Glam Miley Cyrus Lipstick is Hot Pink, and it certainly lives up to that – like amplified bubblegum if you like. It’s still got hints of baby pink and doesn’t spill too far over to fuschia. But, it’s the Lipglass that I like the best – Hot Pink with Sparkling Pearl, and my goodness, does it sparkle! There is a myriad of glimmer shades in there to catch the light and wow up your lip look. I like this duo better than any of the Rihanna versions.

The range hits stores in February; Lipstick is £15.50 and Lipglass is £14.50 with the full RRP (less VAT) going straight to women, men and children affected by HIV/AIDS. The only thing I don’t like about these campaigns is that the celebs get a whacking fee to do it – surely there’s room for a bit of charity from the celebs themselves. It’s a bit distasteful, really.
